Genocide in Gaza: the context | Israel’s war against Gaza

In this special edition, we compile three interviews with experts and a journalist who explain how the media helped enable the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

After three months of destruction, displacement and slaughter of Palestinians, we take a deep dive into how the story of Gaza has been covered.

Since the attacks of October 7, The listening post interviewed a number of experts on media coverage – what’s missing from it and how it has helped enable crimes against Palestinians in Gaza.

In this special edition, we have compiled three interviews – with a journalist, a human rights expert and another in digital rights. They tell us about how the media – through their coverage – helped pave the way for genocide.
