The hashtag wins world popularity while Israel continues to kill the Palestinians looking for food and children die of malnutrition.

Hashtag #Gazaisstarving is trendy on social networks while the Palestinians face an aggravation of the hunger crisis caused by the implacable bombing of Israel of the enclave and the authorization of limited aid.

Sunday, the Arabic version of the hashtag appeared in more than 227,000 messages on X, where it recently exceeded the list of trends in the platform. On Instagram, the hashtag was used in more than 5,000 positions.

Most messages are allocated to a post of October 31, 2023, citing the warning of the Palestinian surgeon Ghassan Abu Sittah: “People have started to be hungry.”

Almost two years later, the sentence became a world rallying cry while Israeli forces kill dozens of hungry Palestinians every day.

The tendency of social media has also come in the midst of the warnings of the United Nations and other aid agencies than Israel of Palestinian civilians, including more than a million children, by blocking food and medications for entry into the enclave.

Since May, nearly 900 Palestinians have been killed near the aid sites led by GHF, a notorious assistance agency supported by Israel and the United States.

As part of the hashtag #Gazisstarving, social media platforms were flooded with images and videos showing the extent of the humanitarian crisis, which many countries and groups of rights have called a genocide.

The following video, filmed on July 19 near a GHF distribution site in Rafah, captures civilians fleeing the premises while Israeli tanks and bulldozers move in the region.

The following verified photos taken on July 19 show Yazan Abu Foul, a two -year -old child suffering from severe malnutrition, in the midst of restrictions at the entrance to humanitarian aid and essential supplies in the SHATI refugee camp to the west of the city of Gaza.
