The National Gathering of Palestinian Tribes, Clans and Families announced its absolute support for the efforts made by Egypt to form a community support committee to temporarily manage the Gaza Strip.
The group said – in a statement – that the support committee must be formed according to a decree issued by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, considering the Gaza Strip an integral part of Palestine, warning that obstruction means abandoning the Palestinian people and making way for the occupation to implement its plans for displacement and extermination.
The group called on the Palestinian President to “be bold in issuing the decree that our sacrificial people have been waiting for, and not to continue his silence and waiting to see the fate of Gaza, which has been exterminated for 457 days without anyone’s support or help.”
