All night long, the ballet of ambulances was incessant. Israeli strikes on displaced people’s tents in Khan Younes, in the south of the Gaza Strip, left at least 17 dead Tuesday evening, mainly women and children.

The victims were transported to Nasser Hospital, one of the few health facilities still functional in the Palestinian territory.

Since the start of 2025, civilians know no respite in the face of intensifying Israeli strikes.

After more than 15 months of war, the human toll of this conflict, which seems hopeless, continues to increase.

This Wednesday, the Gazan authorities announced that at least 51 people were killed in 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 to nearly 46,000, according to Hamas.

Bombing by the Israeli army continues as talks for a ceasefire and the release of hostages held by Hamas resumed a few days ago in Doha, Qatar.

THE last round of negotiations ended in December without success.
