Today, Wednesday, the Gaza government launched a distress call to the international community and all international and international organizations to stop the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing in the northern Gaza Strip.
The government media office in Gaza said – in a statement – that the Israeli occupation army singles out civilians, and commits murders in the streets of the North Governorate, especially in the Jabalia camp, amounting to 125 martyrs, since 5 continuous days of systematic killing and siege against civilians and against children and women in particular.
He added that dozens of bodies were still lying on the ground in the streets, and ambulances and civil defense were unable to reach these bodies, due to the occupation targeting ambulances and civil defense, and also preventing access to these bodies.
The statement stated that the occupation army committed a crime against humanity, as it forced civilians and displaced people to evacuate some displacement and shelter centers, whose number exceeded 17,000 displaced people, due to bombing and direct targeting of them, as well as because the occupation mechanisms approached them in preparation for storming them and committing crimes there.
The government media office held the Israeli occupation, the American administration, and all countries participating in the genocide against the Palestinian people fully responsible for the continuation of these crimes for an entire year.
He called for the prosecution of Israeli war criminals in international courts in preparation for their trial and bringing them to justice for their continuing crimes.
Bombing hospitals
For his part, the Director-General of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip told Tel Aviv Tribune that the lives of dozens of patients in hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip are threatened by the Israeli siege, and his request to evacuate them.
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hossam Abu Safiya, also reported that 16 Palestinians were martyred as a result of the Israeli bombing of the “Happy Yemen” Hospital, which houses displaced persons in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian medics indicated that the Israeli bombing resulted in the charring of the bodies of the Palestinian martyrs.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that the occupation committed 3 new massacres in the Strip within 24 hours, as the siege of Jabalia Camp continued for the fourth day.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced the evacuation of 7 schools in which displaced Palestinians had taken refuge in the northern Gaza Strip, after warnings from the Israeli army.
Coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the start of the genocidal war committed by Israel since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army warned the Palestinians in the towns of Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, and Beit Lahia in northern Gaza to evacuate immediately towards the alleged humanitarian zone in Al-Mawasi, south of the Gaza Strip.
