The government media office in the Gaza Strip accused international organizations working in Gaza of neglecting to perform their duties and dealing with the dangerous conditions with coldness and indifference, which encourages the Israeli occupation to continue its brutal massacres against civilians and displaced persons, especially in Jabalia and Beit Lahia.
For the 23rd day in a row, the Israeli occupation army continues intense aerial and artillery bombardment and shooting in northern Gaza, in scenes that observers say constitute “genocide” that the world is watching live.
The media office confirmed – in a statement – that civilians are being subjected to killing, extermination, ethnic cleansing, eradication, burning, kidnapping and torture by the occupation army, without these organizations having a significant role.
He added, “While international humanitarian law requires these organizations to provide humanitarian aid, they did not provide basic needs such as food, water, and health care, as our Palestinian people have been living for more than 180 days in a tragic state of systematic and clear starvation practiced by the occupation army without We hear the voice of international organizations working in the Gaza Strip.”
He added that these organizations “were watching the humanitarian catastrophe in the northern Gaza Strip governorate, without doing anything, in addition to their surprising inability of not providing support to medical teams in the face of the severe shortage of medicines, supplies, food and water, as their failure led to an acceleration of the collapse of the system.” Health care facility in the northern Gaza Strip.
The office stressed that international organizations “did not succeed in defending and protecting human rights, and did not have any actual and practical role in confronting violations against the civilian population, and showed that they were incapable of facilitating the communication of families separated as a result of the war of extermination, especially in cases of detention and displacement, where their role was non-existent.” There are more than 250 kidnapped by the occupation and thousands of families who were forced to be forcibly displaced by the occupation without us hearing an effective and practical position from them.”
The Government Media Office reminded international organizations of their assigned role, which is to meet humanitarian needs and provide the necessary protection to the Palestinian people, in accordance with the standards of international humanitarian law.
With broad American support and in front of the whole world, Israel has been waging a war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, which, as of last Tuesday afternoon, left 143,000 Palestinians dead and wounded – most of them children and women – and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens. Children and the elderly, in one of the worst global humanitarian disasters.
