Gaza authorities to residents: Charity workers are informants for the occupation, so beware of them | News

The Ministry of Interior in Gaza urged the people of the Strip on Wednesday not to provide any information to any people claiming to work in charitable organizations.

The Ministry of Interior said that it calls on the people of the Gaza Strip not to respond to any communications, regardless of the institution, even if it claims to be a government agency.

She noted that the agencies authorized to collect data to provide assistance do so in direct interviews and not over the phone.

The ministry explained that a number of Israeli attacks were carried out based on information provided by the occupation intelligence via telephone, impersonating charitable organizations.

This comes as the Israeli occupation continues to commit massacres and destroy homes and vital facilities in various cities and towns of the Gaza Strip.

So far, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has resulted in the martyrdom of more than 41,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children.

In addition to the daily bombardment, Israel imposes a strict blockade on the Strip, preventing food and medical aid from reaching residents who have been displaced from their homes and lost their jobs and property.
