In her letter, Élisabeth Borne evokes the president’s “will” to appoint a new Prime Minister.

Political observers say Gabriel Attal favorites to replace Élisabeth Borne at the head of the next French government.

At 34, he would be the youngest Prime Minister in the country’s history.

On his Twitter account, the president thanked Élisabeth Borne for her “exemplary” work in the service of the Nation.
