Three prison officers killed in the attack on their van which was transporting an inmate between Rouen and Evreux.
Criminals killed three prison officers by attacking their van at the Incarville tollbooth, in Eure.
The attack took place late in the morning.
An inmate was being transported between Rouen and Evreux when two ram cars blocked the prison vehicle.
The police found the charred remains of one of the two ram cars.
The criminals are being sought, at least one of them was injured.
