Former Deputy Chief of Mossad: We are losing the Gaza war and our economy is collapsing News

Israeli Member of the Knesset and former deputy head of the Mossad, Ram Ben Barak, said that “the war in Gaza is aimless and we are clearly losing it” and “our economy is collapsing.”

Ben Barak, a representative of the opposition party There is a Future, expressed his vision during an interview with Israeli radio in which he touched on what happened after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation.

He pointed out that “this is a war without a goal and we are losing it unequivocally,” explaining that the occupation army is forced “to return to fighting in the same areas, and lose more soldiers.”

Ben Barak previously served as Deputy Chief of the Israeli Intelligence Service (Mossad) from 2009 to 2011, and Chairman of the Knesset Security and Foreign Affairs Committee between 2021 and 2022.

The Knesset member enumerated what Israel is exposed to as a result of the war on Gaza, saying, “We are losing on the international scene, our relations with the United States are witnessing a severe deterioration, and the Israeli economy is collapsing,” before concluding his speech by asking, “Show me one thing in which we have succeeded.”

Ben Barak’s speech coincided with the return of the occupation army to fighting in Jabalia and several areas in the Gaza Strip, where it had announced the destruction of resistance capabilities. However, it faced fierce resistance that led to the killing of many soldiers and the destruction of its vehicles on a daily basis.
