The former CEO of Barcelona club, Tony Fresca, reduced the importance of French international Killian Mbappe with Real Madrid this season, as well as her integrity.
The Real star scored 42 goals and won the Spanish League top scorer and golden shoes for the best scorer in European leagues.
Mbappe also crowned the Royal Club with the European Super Cup and Intercontinental, but he did not win any great title.
“The Mbappe season is better than the very bad Real Madrid season. But the French performance was not the required quality in the days after joining, almost a year ago.”
He added, “If a team has won everything a player who is supposed to be the best player in the world, the results will be exceptional.

The role of arbitration
Fresca believes that the arbitration decisions had a major role in Mbappe’s goal score this season, and that Real Madrid did not control Spanish football and was defeated in all four El Clásico matches against Barcelona.
Fresca doubts the integrity and sincerity of Mbappe’s individual records in his first season with Real Madrid.
“Real Madrid got a stunning number of penalty kicks, and Mbappe scored many of them,” (scored 7 goals from a penalty in the league).
