The adventure in Munich has come to an end for the double world champions. The French football team failed to get the better of the Spanish team, which won 2-1.

The match had started well for the French. In the 8th minute, Mbappé, on the left side, crossed to find the head of Kolo Muani, who deceived the Spanish goalkeeper Unai Simon and scored the first goal of the match.

But the Spaniards quickly responded with an equaliser in the 21st minute, with a masterful strike from Barça’s 16-year-old prodigy Lamine Yamal.

La Roja, superior throughout the match, doubled their lead in the 25th minute, thanks to Dani Olmo.

The French were then unable to turn the match around against a Spanish team in full control.
