An elderly Palestinian woman’s statement yesterday, Tuesday, that the Israeli occupation forces unleashed their dogs on her because she refused to leave her home in the Jabalia refugee camp, north of Gaza, ignited social media platforms at the global and Arab levels.

Brief seconds of leaked footage obtained by Tel Aviv Tribune from a camera mounted on an Israeli police dog showed the incident of an elderly Palestinian woman being brutally assaulted inside her home, where she was sitting under an old blanket.

The incident occurred during the recent Israeli invasion of Jabalia refugee camp weeks ago, and the elderly woman suffered very serious injuries and fractures due to the mauling she was subjected to.

The scenes invaded social media platforms and were met with anger and indignation at the Arab and international levels.
