Five dead, several injured in new Israeli bombing in Gaza

They were all taken to Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.

Eyewitnesses say a house belonging to a family in the city centre was targeted without prior warning.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization and its partners evacuated 97 sick or seriously injured patients on Tuesday in the largest medical evacuation since the start of the conflict.

45 children and 52 adults were able to leave Gaza. This very complex operation was carried out under extremely tight deadlines to reunite all the patients.

Seattle mourns Ayşenur killed in West Bank

Finally, on a beach in Seattle, a tribute was paid to the young Ayşenur Ezgi Eygi26, an American activist of Turkish origin, was shot dead Friday by the Israeli army in the middle of a pro-Palestinian demonstration in Judea and Samaria.

The International Solidarity Movement (ISM), which organizes foreign volunteers in the Palestinian territories, said Israeli forces had “intentionally shot and killed an international human rights activist” during the demonstration

The IDF regretted the incident and said it was a “error and an unintentional act.”

But the Israeli army’s explanations were not convincing.

Eygi’s family has also called for an independent investigation.
