An official at the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that fires broke out in displacement schools in the Jabalia camp following bombing by the occupation forces, while medical sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that the death toll had risen to 32 as a result of Israeli raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip since Saturday morning.

The official in Gaza’s health department explained that they cannot count the number of martyrs, as “the numbers are terrifying and what we announce is (the number) of those we are able to rescue,” confirming that the three hospitals in the north were out of service after being targeted by the occupation forces.

“Execution of civilians”

The health official confirmed that the current situation in northern Gaza is more severe than the first days of the war, saying that “we are receiving calls for help about the occupation carrying out executions of civilians it arrested in the northern Gaza Strip.”

An Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent confirmed that a fire broke out in Abu Hussein School in Jabalia Camp following an Israeli bombing, amid appeals to save the displaced people there, confirming the death of 5 and the injury of others, including children, in an Israeli bombing of homes in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.

Toll of martyrs

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that 42,519 people were martyred since the start of the ongoing aggression on the Strip for more than a year, and this toll did not include 33 people who were martyred in an Israeli strike at night.

Earlier today, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two patients from the care department of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza were martyred after the occupation forces destroyed the electricity generator, while medical sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that 21 Palestinians were martyred as a result of Israeli raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip since Saturday morning.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir Al-Bursh, confirmed the death of two patients in the care department of the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia, after the Israeli occupation forces besieged the hospital and destroyed the electricity generator on which it relied in light of the power outage.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the Israeli army had intensified its targeting of the health system in the northern Gaza Strip, in a clear attempt to put it out of service.

The Ministry said in a statement that the Israeli occupation is strengthening its targeting of the health system in the northern Gaza Strip, through its siege and direct targeting of the Indonesian Hospital, Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda Hospital during the past hours.

Today, Saturday, Israeli tanks penetrated the northern Gaza Strip, reaching the gate of the Indonesian Hospital, surrounded the hospital and demolished part of its walls, according to medical sources told Anadolu Agency.

The health authorities in Gaza also reported today that the Israeli army bombed the Indonesian hospital in the northern Gaza Strip and tightened the siege on it, wounding more than 40 people.

Hospital director Marwan Sultan said that Israeli tanks bombed the hospital, surrounded the entire building, cut off its electricity, and targeted the second and third floors with artillery shells, stressing that “there are severe risks surrounding medical staff and patients.”

The hospital director called on all international and international bodies to intervene immediately to stop this attack targeting medical staff and health facilities that are doing their duty to save the lives of patients and injured people.

Israeli artillery also targeted the upper floors of Al Awda Hospital 3 times, wounding a number of medical staff, according to a statement issued by the hospital.

This coincides with the occupation continuing its siege and raids on the northern Gaza Strip for 15 days, by bombing homes and shelter centers, blowing up and destroying entire residential neighborhoods, in addition to preventing the entry of food and water into the region, which left hundreds of martyrs and wounded in the besieged northern Gaza Strip.
