Fierce battles continue between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces in several areas in the Gaza Strip, as the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the killing of a number of Israeli soldiers during confrontations that took place in the Tal al-Zaatar area in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam said in posts on Telegram that its fighters reported, after returning from the battle lines in Tal al-Zaatar, that they had targeted 5 occupation soldiers with a hand grenade and then finished them off from point zero in the vicinity of the Omar bin al-Khattab Mosque in that area.

She added that in the vicinity of the same mosque, the fighters targeted an Israeli tank with a “commander action” device, and detonated an anti-personnel “television” device against a group of occupation soldiers.

Also in Tal al-Zaatar, Al-Qassam fighters reported that they had targeted an Israeli special force holed up inside a house with an anti-fortified TPG shell, killing and wounding its members.

The fighters also detonated a “shock” device against a number of occupation soldiers, killing and wounding them in the vicinity of Al-Bashir Mosque in Tal Al-Zaatar, according to Al-Qassam.

Battles of Jabalia

In the battles east of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, the Al-Qassam Brigades said that its fighters targeted 3 Israeli Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells.

In the center of Jabalia camp, Al-Qassam announced that its fighters had detonated an anti-personnel device against an Israeli foot force, killing and wounding its members.

The Al-Qassam Brigades broadcast scenes of an Israeli soldier sniping in the axis northeast of Jabalia Camp, and also announced the bombing of an occupation army headquarters southwest of Gaza City with mortar shells.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, broadcast scenes that it said showed its fighters firing mortar shells towards Israeli military vehicles east of the Jabalia camp.

Rafah battles

In the battles of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, Tel Aviv Tribune showed scenes it obtained of the Al-Qassam Brigades blowing up an Israeli tank with an explosive device from zero distance.

Earlier, the Al-Quds Brigades broadcast scenes that they said were of mortar shells being fired at military gatherings and occupation vehicles penetrating east of the city of Rafah.

For its part, the Israeli army announced that two soldiers were seriously injured in battles in the southern Gaza Strip.

He said that he advanced deep into Rafah and controlled two-thirds of the Philadelphia axis (Salah al-Din axis) on the border with Egypt.

The Israeli army added that the 99th Division continues to fight in the center of the Strip.

Martyrs and wounded

Meanwhile, the occupation raids continued on several areas across the Gaza Strip, where dozens of Palestinians were killed and wounded.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said in its daily report on Tuesday afternoon that the occupation committed 5 new massacres, including 85 martyrs and 200 injured in hospitals during the past 24 hours.

Thus, the total number of victims of the Israeli aggression rises to 35,647 martyrs and 79,852 injured since October 7, 2023, according to the ministry’s report.

For more than 7 months, the Israeli occupation army has been waging what international experts describe as a war of extermination against the Palestinians in Gaza, where tens of thousands were martyred and injured – most of them children and women – and nearly 70% of the civilian infrastructure, including homes, schools and hospitals, was destroyed.
