Farmers converge on Paris this Monday, France. A day of large-scale mobilization in the capital, at the call of the main unions in the profession. The siege was planned from 2 p.m. and was to be organized around eight blockade points in the town.

Already this morning, tractors have reached the main roads and multiplied snail operations in the territory.

The announcements of French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal in recent days have not succeeded in calming peasant discontent. The authorities want to avoid a paralysis of the nerve centers in Ile de France, and are deploying major means.

Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin assured that there would be “no tractors in Paris”. Nearly 15,000 members of the police are mobilized.

This anger echoes the mobilization observed in other European countries, such as in Italy where blockades paralyzed Sicily last week.

Demonstrations were also held in Germany, the Netherlands, and Greece. With always demands on the weight of expenses, remuneration and international competition.
