Families of Israeli prisoners in Gaza discuss the fate of their relatives in Doha News

Israeli Channel 12 reported that a delegation of 6 families of prisoners held by the resistance in the Gaza Strip arrived in the Qatari capital, Doha, on Friday.

The families of the prisoners are scheduled to meet with the US Ambassador to Qatar, Timmy T. Davis.

The families of the prisoners will also seek to meet with the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, to discuss the issue of those kidnapped by the resistance and ways to advance their release.

The families of the prisoners have been demonstrating for more than two months in several Israeli cities, demanding that the Israeli government work to release their families. The resistance has released a number of prisoners in exchange for the occupation’s release of detained Palestinian women and children.

But the prisoner exchange process stopped after the occupation resumed its aggression against Gaza, and a number of prisoners were killed in the Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip and when trying to free some of them, they were shot dead by the occupation soldiers.

This coincided with the military media of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcasting a video clip that included a warning message addressed to the families of Israeli occupation soldiers detained in the Gaza Strip that their Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not care about the lives of their captive families.

The message began with the phrase, “To the families of the captured soldiers, beware,” accompanied by scenes from her demonstrations demanding the release of their relatives. This was then followed by writing the phrase, “Netanyahu does not care about the death of all the captured soldiers,” while continuing to display pictures of the activities of the families of the prisoners.

It is noteworthy that Qatar plays the role of mediator between Hamas and Israel to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and release prisoners on both sides, but the intransigence of the Israeli government has thwarted all efforts aimed at bringing about a breakthrough in the negotiations and reaching an agreement that ends the aggression against Gaza and frees the prisoners, as the resistance refuses to discuss any issue with the occupation. Without a final ceasefire.
