Experts: Netanyahu revealed his intention towards Gaza and challenges European measures news

Experts believe that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed in his recent speech his plan on the future of the Gaza Strip, and he implicitly directed the Western countries to continue to criticize Israel, and he also tried to reassure the Israelis that “friends” would not abandon them as long as he leads them.

After a long absence from the media, Netanyahu came out in a lengthy speech to reporters in which he stressed that he would continue the war until the elimination of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the disarmament of the resistance, the control of the Gaza Strip and the displacement of its residents.

Netanyahu also criticized Western positions against the expansion of the military operation and demanded that they be “shy about themselves”, which was considered by experts a warning of these countries that they will be in hostility with Israel and not with him personally.

During this speech, the Israeli Prime Minister revealed conditions that are incapable of completing a temporary prisoner exchange deal, as he reaffirmed his intention to return to the war after the end of the deal.

A new political statement

This speech represents the political and strategic statement of Israel during the coming period, because it defines the fate of the sector and the war as Netanyahu and the extremist right that guarantees his survival in power, says the expert in the Israeli affairs, Dr. Muhannad Mustafa.

During his participation in the “Path of Events” program, Mustafa said that Netanyahu ended the negotiations through this speech because he says to the Palestinian side that he will take his captives and then returns to continue the fighting until Gaza’s emptying from its residents, which is something that the resistance cannot negotiate accordingly.

The Al -Jazeera correspondent in Palestine agreed to Elias Karam with the previous opinion by saying that Netanyahu informed the interior and abroad that he continued his military escalation until the occupation of the Strip, which made the opposition accuse him of not having a plan to get out of this war.

As for the first researcher at the Al -Jazeera Center for Studies, Dr. Mekki Makki, he said that Netanyahu presented in this speech what he considers a final solution to the Gaza issue, similar to the final solution that the Germans put in the Jewish crisis after the Second World War.

Trying to reassure the Israelis

Makki also believes that the Israeli Prime Minister tried, through the speech, the way to deliver it and his timing, reassuring the Israelis that they will not be alone in this war, by warning the West against continuing to oppose his behavior “because this will be anti -Semitism and Israel and not for Netanyahu.”

The reason for all this – in the opinion of Makki – is that Netanyahu no longer has another political exit for this war, because any talk about its stopping means the fall of his government, and he knows that the West will not take painful measures against Israel in the end.

Even the stopping of military supplies from countries such as Britain or France will not affect the course of the war because the majority of American armament comes from the United States and Germany, which is considered absent from this path, says Makki.

Therefore, through this speech, Netanyahu tried to restore confidence to the Israelis that they would never be alone and that he would make the world accept what he wants, according to Makki, who said that negotiations will not stop even though it reached a dead end.

A goal is not easy

With regard to military control of the Strip, Brigadier Elias Hanna said that the Gaza area does not allow the entry of 50 thousand soldiers, for example, in addition to the mechanisms and tanks.

According to Hanna, the Israeli forces are currently practicing military and political pressure at one time, but they are trying to create a new trick to restore the prisoners by force, which has failed before.

The military expert believes that Netanyahu is trying to use the same roads to achieve various results, and believes that military control over the sector is theoretically easy, but it will not be in practice.

However, the military expert suggested that the occupation army is practically trying to restrict Hamas in certain areas and prevent them from using its weapons or creating new weapons with the sector to cut 3 areas.

He referred to the conversations being circulated regarding Israel’s planning to use a mercenary company that will distribute meals – which will be funded by an unknown country – to people in the southern sector to force them to go to this region specifically.

Hanna inferred his speech that Israel in practice does not do military action throughout the Strip, but rather in Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, East Khan Yunis and Kissovim.

He concluded that the war reached its climax and achieved important tactical results for the Israeli army, stressing that Netanyahu does not employ these results.
