She expects the next European Parliament to reduce the gaps between men and women. The next hemicycle “should prioritize the recognition of rape as a crime at European level, considering rape as sexual intercourse without the explicit consent of the woman“.
Eugenia Arsenis is a candidate in Greece on the list of the European Left. She counts “fight for a change of mentality in a Europe where the extreme right is on the rise, I want to fight for peace, for international relations, for respect for the rights of children and women, in a period where the murders of women shocked us“.
