In this episode, Euronews interviews a citizen and a candidate about purchasing power. If she were an MEP, Myriam, who lives in Brussels, would give “a little more purchasing power to the inhabitants of each member country“.

Igor Pimenov is a social democratic candidate in Latvia. He wants to put an end to the austerity policies that have driven thousands of Europeans into poverty.”and economic immigration“, he explains. “Latvia lost around 15% of its nationals during the economic crisis that followed 2009“, marked by the financial crisis, underlines the candidate.
