Egyptian military expert: The real conflict that threatens Israel is with Egypt Program news

Egyptian military and strategic expert Brigadier General Samir Ragheb said – in a statement to Tel Aviv Tribune – that Israel is promoting its occupation of the Philadelphia axis, but in reality it does not deploy forces there, but rather in the northern part inside the Palestinian wall of the border.

According to the rules of engagement, if the Israeli soldier crosses the Philadelphia axis, which is occupied territory, the Egyptian soldier has the right to shoot him, according to the expert who was commenting on what was reported by the Israeli Channel 14 that Egyptian soldiers opened fire on Israeli soldiers inside the Rafah crossing. This led to an exchange of gunfire between the two sides, resulting in the death of an Egyptian soldier, according to the Israeli source.

While the Israeli Walla website reported that two Egyptians were killed in an exchange of fire with the Israeli army at the Rafah crossing.

Brigadier General Ragheb explained that the occupation seeks to market to Egypt the idea that it occupied the Philadelphia Corridor and no displacement occurred. On the other hand, it is trying to feel the pulse of the Egyptians by saying that it occupied two-thirds of Philadelphia and is waiting to see what happens, until it reaches a stage where it announces its occupation of the entire corridor.

Regarding the measures that Cairo can take if it is confirmed that there is a violation in Philadelphia or of the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty, the Egyptian expert confirmed that there is a committee that meets and solves the problem, and the soldier who commits the violation pays a fine, noting that entering Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, is a violation according to the trend. Security.

The expert stressed that Egypt is concerned with everything that happens in the occupied Palestinian territories, even if it is in the West Bank. He said that if public opinion in Egypt (120 million) moves, it will turn into a volcano, and that the government does not guarantee its patience.

He also said that the Egyptian authorities used the highest levels of restraint, but “they will not accept what happens within their limits, and no force will prevent anyone from responding.”

Brigadier General Ragheb concluded that the real conflict threatening the entity is the conflict with Egypt.
