Dozens of martyrs in Jabalia and Rafah, and the occupation turns Al Awda Hospital into a “military barracks” | News

Dozens of martyrs and wounded were killed as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted Jabalia Camp in the northern Gaza Strip and homes in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, while the Ministry of Health said that the Israeli occupation forces turned Al Awda Hospital into a military barracks.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that dozens of martyrs were killed in an Israeli bombardment on a residential square in “Block 2” in the Jabalia camp, while the Israeli occupation intensified its raids on various areas in the north, center and south of the Gaza Strip.

This bombing comes a day after more than 200 martyrs were killed in one day as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted Jabalia, Al-Shifa Medical Complex, and neighborhoods in Gaza City.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, more than 100 martyrs were killed in Jabalia, and 100 others are still under the rubble.

This comes as sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune that 30 Palestinians – including 10 children and journalist Adel Zoroub – were martyred in Israeli raids that targeted several homes in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, last night and early Tuesday.

Ambulance teams were able to transfer a number of injured people to the Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah.

In the center of the Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that there were martyrs and wounded – including children – in the bombing of a residential square in the Nuseirat camp.

Tel Aviv Tribune obtained photos showing the first moments following the bombing and the attempts of residents and members of the Civil Defense to rescue those trapped in the targeted homes.

In the city of Deir al-Balah, 8 people were martyred – including children and women – and about 15 were injured in Israeli bombing of several homes in the city.

In a related context, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that the occupation forces turned Al-Awda Hospital into a military barracks, noting that they arrested 240 people, including 80 medical staff, 40 patients, and 120 displaced people inside the hospital without water, food, or medicine.

Al-Qudra stated that the occupation soldiers prevent movement between departments, and they also arrested 6 hospital staff, including its director, Dr. Ahmed Muhanna, in addition to a patient and a companion.

Gaza’s hospitals are a front for direct and indirect targeting by the Israeli occupation army, with continuous bombing and threats of forced eviction, as part of its ongoing aggression since last October 7.

On the other hand, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported the outbreak of violent clashes between the resistance and the Israeli occupation forces in the Tal al-Zaatar area in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

For the 74th day in a row, the Israeli army is waging a devastating war on Gaza that, as of Monday, left 19,453 martyrs and 52,286 wounded, most of them children and women, in addition to massive infrastructure destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, according to Palestinian and UN sources.
