Dozens of martyrs in Israeli raids on Gaza, and hospitals warn of a disaster News

Dozens of Palestinians, including children, were martyred due to Israeli raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip, including Rafah (south) and Nuseirat camp (centre), while several hospitals warned of their inability to continue their work due to the lack of fuel.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent in Rafah said that 6 Palestinians, including two girls, were martyred as a result of an Israeli raid on a house in the Khirbet Al-Adas area, north of the city.

The reporter added that another bombing targeted a group of citizens near Al-Najma Roundabout in Rafah, leaving 3 martyrs and a number of injured.

The Israeli occupation forces continued to blow up residential squares in the areas they penetrated south and east of the city of Rafah.

In the center of the Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that 6 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted an UNRWA headquarters housing displaced persons in the market area of the Nuseirat camp.

The reporter also said that a number of Palestinians were injured as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Earlier, in the Al-Saftawi area, north of the Gaza Strip, an Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that 10 Palestinians were martyred and 17 wounded in an Israeli bombing that targeted Al-Nazla School.

This school, like many schools in the Gaza Strip, houses a number of displaced families who were forced to search for a safe haven to escape the Israeli bombing.

For its part, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that, during the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation forces committed 5 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 46 martyrs and 130 wounded who arrived at hospitals.

Thus, the toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 rose to 35,903 martyrs and 80,420 injured.

Medical disaster

In a related context, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said that more than 20,000 wounded and people suffering from cancer, heart diseases and other diseases are waiting for the closed Rafah crossing with Egypt to be opened, in inhumane conditions.

Al-Qudra appealed to the free world to intervene to save these victims from complications and death, in light of most of the health institutions in the Gaza Strip being out of service due to the targeting of facilities and personnel. 493 health personnel and specialists were martyred, while the occupation arrested 310 others.

In turn, the director of Nasser Medical Complex, Atef Al-Hout, warned of a serious disaster that could befall patients, in light of the lack of fuel needed to operate the hospital’s electricity generators.

The official explained that the electricity generator will stop working; This exposes patients, especially children, to the risk of death.

He called on the international community and the World Health Organization to intervene urgently to supply the complex and all other hospitals in the Strip with sufficient fuel to operate generators.

The administration of the “Kuwait Specialized Hospital” in Rafah also appealed to the World Health Organization to provide the hospital with fuel to ensure its continued operation.

Hospital director Suhaib Al-Hams said in a statement to Tel Aviv Tribune that the amounts of diesel in the hospital are not sufficient for more than 24 hours.

The Israeli war on Gaza left more than 116,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and about 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that claimed the lives of children and the elderly.

Israel continues this war, ignoring a Security Council resolution demanding that it stop the fighting immediately, and orders from the Court of Justice demanding that it stop its attack on Rafah, and take immediate measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and “improve the humanitarian situation” in Gaza.
