The Israeli occupation army intensified its raids on the Gaza Strip – yesterday and at dawn on Wednesday – and medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 52 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli raids since dawn on Tuesday, 18 of them during the last hours. For its part, the resistance announced that its fighters had seized control of a number of Israeli marches.
The Israeli bombing focused on several areas in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, where 18 Palestinians were martyred, half of them children.
An Israeli march bombed a tent housing displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city, killing a woman and 5 children and wounding others. Scenes showed tents catching fire and residents trying to extinguish them.
4 were also martyred in a raid that targeted a civilian car in the Al-Manara neighborhood, southeast of the city of Khan Yunis, and 9 Palestinians were martyred in two raids on two homes in the Khan Yunis camp and the Qizan Rashwan area, south of the city.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that 5 Palestinians were killed and a number of others were injured in an Israeli air strike on a house in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
In the Beach camp, west of the city, 5 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces targeted a house in the camp yesterday. Eyewitnesses reported that several houses adjacent to the targeted house were damaged, raising the number of injured to dozens.
In an independent bombing, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that martyrs and several wounded were killed in another Israeli raid that targeted a house in the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip. A Palestinian was also martyred and others were injured in another raid on a residential apartment in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip as well.
Continuous massacres
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced – yesterday afternoon, Tuesday – that the Israeli occupation committed, within 24 hours, 3 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 31 martyrs and 57 wounded arrived at hospitals.
The total number of martyrs has risen to 45,885, while the number of injured has reached 109,196, since October 7, 2023.
The Ministry of Health renewed its warning of what it described as a humanitarian catastrophe affecting the hospitals and medical facilities remaining in operation in the sector, and said – in a statement – that the fuel stock in those hospitals had run out due to the “distillation policy” followed by the occupation in introducing fuel.
She pointed out that the occupation forces aid convoys, including fuel vehicles, to take roads full of thieves and bandits, to steal them under its protection, and explained that the last shipment of fuel was stolen – yesterday – when it was on its way to hospitals through international institutions.
Battle developments
On the field level, the Israeli army announced – yesterday, Tuesday – the killing of a soldier from the Nahal Brigade in battles in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the number of those killed from the same brigade to 3 within 24 hours.
The Israeli army spokesman announced – the day before yesterday, Monday – the killing of a deputy company commander in the same battalion, and another soldier, in addition to the serious wounding of two others. Israeli Army Radio said that the company lost its elite leaders with the killing of its commander and his deputy.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority confirmed that the number of Israeli army personnel killed since the beginning of the war had reached 826 officers and soldiers.
For its part, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast – yesterday, Tuesday – scenes of targeting Israeli vehicles east of the Al-Saftawi Junction, west of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, It also broadcast scenes showing its fighters seizing a number of Israeli marches east of Rafah.
In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, also yesterday broadcast scenes showing its fighters, in conjunction with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, bombing Israeli military crowds in the Netzarim axis and the “Malaka” military site with 107 missiles and mortar shells.
In this regard, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli occupation army, Herzi Halevy, said that the army will not stop and will continue its operations in Gaza, and he confirmed – during an assessment session of the security conditions in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip – that the army will push the Hamas movement to a point where it realizes that it must return the Israeli prisoners detained in Gaza, As he put it.
On the other hand, Channel 13 quoted senior Israeli army officers as saying that the ground military operation in Gaza “achieved its goal” and without a deal, Israeli soldiers will bear a heavy price, according to the channel.
The channel also quoted them as saying, “Counting the bodies of terrorists (resistance fighters) and being proud of that does not mean progress in negotiations to return the kidnapped (prisoners) and dismantle Hamas,” according to their claim.
