An Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that 17 Palestinians – including a journalist – were martyred as a result of the continuous Israeli bombing of the central Gaza Strip since dawn on Friday, a day after the occupation forces intensified their raids on the besieged Palestinian Strip.
Medical sources confirmed that at least 90 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, including 43 people in the north of the Strip yesterday.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that 9 Palestinians were martyred – including a journalist – in an Israeli bombing of 3 homes in the central Gaza Strip at dawn today.
He explained that journalist Omar Al-Dirawi was martyred in an Israeli raid on his family’s home in the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip. This came a day after photojournalist Hassan Al-Qishawi was martyred after he was targeted by a missile from an Israeli drone west of Gaza City.
Four Palestinians were martyred and others were injured as a result of the Israeli occupation forces targeting Al-Barbari station, on Al-Jalaa Street, west of Gaza City. Also, 4 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
During the past few hours, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported the death of 5 Palestinians – including two children – as a result of the occupation bombing an apartment in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
An Israeli bombing on a house in the Al-Sawarha area, southwest of the Nuseirat camp, resulted in the injury of a number of Palestinians.
West of Gaza City, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that at least 4 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli air strike that targeted the Beach camp.
Near the entrance to Al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, 9 Palestinians were martyred and others sustained varying injuries in an Israeli raid that targeted a home for the Abu Lebda family. Ambulances transported the injured and the bodies of the martyrs to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Medical sources at Nasser Hospital reported that they received the bodies of 4 martyrs, including a girl, in addition to a number of injured people, after the Israeli army targeted with an air strike a tent housing displaced people north of Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said that 20 people were martyred in two massacres in Jabalia al-Nazla and al-Mawasi. He added in statements to Tel Aviv Tribune that most of the victims the Civil Defense deals with are children and women, and that this confirms the occupation’s insistence on continuing the so-called policy of ethnic cleansing.
In the northern Gaza Strip, the occupation forces set fire to a number of schools and homes in the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital.
