The occupation army launched raids and artillery shelling targeting residential neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death and injury of two citizens, at a time when the Government Information Office in Gaza called on the international community to open a safe corridor to save the health system in the North Gaza Governorate, while the occupation continued its siege of the area for 12 days.
The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that 5 Palestinians were killed and several others were wounded and missing as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, north of Gaza.
Two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli drone bombing on Ahmed Yassin Street, north of Gaza City.
A number of Palestinians were also injured as a result of the occupation forces bombing a house in the Tal al-Zaatar area of Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army continued to fire heavy artillery shells at the northwestern areas of Jabalia camp, and its gunboats also fired fire and shells towards the coast of Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip.
Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent B. reported:The occupation army targeted the northwestern areas of Gaza City with intense artillery shelling.
The reporter said that Israeli artillery also launched heavy bombardment on Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Gaza Civil Defense reported, in a statement yesterday, Tuesday, that its crews recovered the bodies of seven martyrs from a residential house, two others from in front of a tower, and five from the streets in the Al-Faluga area in the northern Gaza Strip.

For its part, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said yesterday evening that the Israeli occupation committed 4 massacres against civilians in the Strip, and that the number of martyrs whose bodies arrived at hospitals reached 55 martyrs, in addition to 329 cases of infection within 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health reported that the toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 42,344 martyrs and 99,013 injured since October 7, 2023.
Safe passage
Yesterday, the government media office in Gaza called for opening a safe corridor “immediately and truly” to save the health system in the northern Gaza Strip, which is “going through a catastrophic and unprecedented situation” due to the occupation army’s aggression.
This came in a statement by the office, as the occupation army continued for 12 days a campaign of extermination and starvation against the Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip, intensifying raids and shooting, destroying and burning homes, and preventing the entry of food and medicine.
On October 6, the Israeli army announced the start of its invasion of the northern Gaza Strip for the third time since the beginning of its aggression against Gaza, under the pretext of preventing the Hamas movement from regaining its power in the region, while the Palestinians confirm that Israel seeks to occupy the region and displace its residents.
The government office said that the occupation army targeted the health system in the northern Gaza Strip, threatening a few days ago to bring down the four hospitals operating in the governorate, and opening fire on the administration room of Kamal Adwan Hospital.
He added that the Israeli army called on all medical teams to leave the “Kamal Adwan”, “Indonesian”, “Al-Awda” and “Happy Yemen” hospitals.
To confront this, the office called on the international community and all international and international organizations to open safe passage to save the health system in North Gaza Governorate, ensure the continued provision of health services, and supply the four hospitals with everything necessary.
Last Monday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip launched an appeal for the need to bring medicines, medical supplies and food to besieged patients and medical staff in hospitals in the northern Strip.
The occupation army is launching a ground attack and a comprehensive siege on the northern Gaza Strip, concentrated in the areas of Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia and Jabalia Camp, in an attempt to empty those areas of residents in implementation of what the media called “the generals’ plan.”
International warning
For its part, the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs warned that the situation in northern Gaza is “catastrophic,” with only 3 hospitals operating, at a time when Israel is intensifying its military operations.
United Nations spokesman Stephane Dujarric said yesterday that the escalation in the north “severely undermines people’s ability to access the means of survival.”
Dujarric added that UN health partners reported that the three hospitals were “suffering from severe shortages of fuel, blood, trauma kits and medicines.”
He said that as military operations continue abroad, about 285 patients remain in Kamal Adwan, Al-Awda and Indonesian hospitals.
Dujarric pointed out that the United Nations World Health Organization warned that Kamal Adwan Hospital “is still overburdened, as it receives between 50 and 70 new patients every day.”
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, with American support, in full view of the whole world, resulting in more than 141,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing persons, according to official data.
