Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured in the continuous Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip. On the other hand, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced the targeting of two Merkava tanks east of the Bureij camp, killing and wounding 8 occupation soldiers in blowing up a tunnel opening east of the Bureij camp.

For its part, the Israeli occupation army announced that an officer and a soldier were killed and 4 others were wounded in the Gaza battles. It also said that 43 soldiers were wounded in the Gaza battles in the last 24 hours.

In the southern Gaza Strip, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that 5 Palestinians were martyred and others wounded in Israeli raids on two homes in Khan Yunis and Rafah, and the wounded were transferred to Nasser Hospital in the city to receive treatment.

Meanwhile, Israeli aircraft launched air strikes on the center of the city of Khan Yunis in conjunction with artillery shelling. On the other hand, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that two Israeli Merkava tanks were targeted with an Al-Yassin 105 shell east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. A troop carrier was targeted northeast of the Bureij camp, killing and wounding its members.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also published pictures that they said were of mortar detachments crushing crowds of Israeli forces in the areas of the incursion.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also announced the explosion of a tunnel opening in an Israeli force consisting of 8 soldiers east of the Bureij camp, leaving them dead and wounded.

In turn, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that its fighters were engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces penetrating the front lines east and north of Khan Yunis.

Deaths from the occupation army

For its part, the Israeli army announced that 43 soldiers were injured in the battles in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours. It also announced that an officer and a soldier were killed and 4 other members were seriously injured in the battles last night in the southern Gaza Strip.

This brings the number of deaths among the Israeli army since the start of the ground incursion on October 26 to 164, and the total number since Operation Al-Aqsa Flood and the war on Gaza on October 7 to 491 dead, including officers and soldiers.

Army Radio revealed that two soldiers were killed last month after a tank bombarded a building in Gaza, which was later revealed to contain the leadership of an Israeli battalion.

The Israeli army said in a statement that it is continuing its military operations in the Gaza Strip by land, air and sea against targets affiliated with Hamas, noting that the Air Force raided 100 targets in the south of the Strip.

He added that his forces in Jabalia clashed with militants who tried to plant an explosive device near a tank, then a fighter targeted the building in which the militants were holed up.

The Israeli occupation army also indicated that its fighters launched air strikes in Khan Yunis, resulting in the killing of dozens of Palestinian militants.
