36 Palestinians were martyred in continuous Israeli bombardment on the northern and southern Gaza Strip since Tuesday morning, while the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), broadcast the second ambush it carried out against the occupation soldiers, which it said came in retaliation for the blood of the martyred head of the movement’s political bureau. Yahya Al-Sanwar.
6 Palestinians were killed as a result of the occupation bombing of a school housing displaced people in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, Gaza City. Also, 5 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in a bombing on Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that a number of Palestinians were injured in the targeting of one of the shops in the “Omar Al-Mukhtar Market.” A Palestinian was also martyred in the Al-Jeneina neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and two others were injured in a bombing on the Al-Nasr neighborhood, northeast of the city.
For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that the Israeli occupation forces committed two massacres during the past 24 hours, the bodies of 36 martyrs, in addition to 96 wounded, arriving at hospitals. It indicated that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, but Ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them because they are prevented by the occupation forces.
Israeli artillery intensified its bombardment of Al Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. The director of field hospitals in the Strip told Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation is intensifying its targeting of medical facilities and that the lives of thousands of Palestinians are at risk due to acute malnutrition and dehydration.
Sinwar’s revenge
On the ground, today, Tuesday, the Al-Qassam Brigades broadcast scenes from the second ambush in a complex ambush carried out by its fighters against Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and said that it came in retaliation for the blood of the martyr, Commander Yahya Al-Sinwar.
According to the clip, the operation, which Al-Qassam called “Victory for the Blood of Sinwar,” took place in the vicinity of the Burj Awad Junction in the Al-Geneina neighborhood, east of Rafah, on November 23 of last year.
Last Sunday, Al-Qassam broadcasted scenes from the first ambush within this complex ambush, which included several stages that began with sniper operations targeting Israeli soldiers who came from the Salah al-Din axis (Philadelphia axis), then striking the occupation vehicles and rescue forces with anti-armor shells.
Since the beginning of the genocide in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation army has targeted the health system in a planned and deliberate manner, by destroying and burning hospitals and medical centers and putting them out of service.
With American support, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, leaving about 150,000 Palestinians martyred and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
Israel continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
