Medical sources told Tel Aviv Tribune that 20 Palestinians were killed and several others were injured on Friday in a series of Israeli raids, one of which targeted tents for displaced people in an area the Israeli army claims is a “safe humanitarian” area in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Awda Hospital in Al-Nuseirat camp (central) said in a brief statement that Israeli shelling targeted tents for displaced people west of the camp, resulting in the deaths of two women and two children, and the injury of others with various injuries.

The targeted area is located within the areas that the Israeli army claims are safe humanitarian areas, according to local Palestinian sources.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment of a house in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

In Gaza City, a woman and her child were killed in a bombing that targeted a house in the Sabra neighborhood, and 3 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in a bombing of a house in Tal al-Hawa.

The Civil Defense in Gaza stated that it had recovered 3 martyrs from an Israeli bombardment of the Al-Haddad family home west of Gaza City, and that rescue crews were still searching for missing persons under the rubble.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that there were casualties in an Israeli bombardment of a house in the Al-Daraj neighbourhood, east of Gaza City, in addition to a martyr in an Israeli raid on the Al-Zeitoun neighbourhood, southeast of the city.

The Civil Defense in Gaza reported that two children were killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted the Yassin family’s house in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

Al-Maghazi camp

A child was killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a gathering of displaced people in Al-Maghazi camp.

In Rafah in the south, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that two martyrs fell in a bombing in the north of the city, and the occupation army also blew up residential buildings west of Rafah.

Over the past few months, the Israeli army has targeted camps for displaced persons in areas it claims are humanitarian, and shelters in various areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in massacres that have left hundreds of martyrs and wounded.

With American support, Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, leaving more than 135,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and deadly famine.
