More than 35 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted 5 populated homes in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, coinciding with the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip being subjected to air and artillery bombardment by the Israeli occupation forces.
An official in the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation forces committed a massacre by targeting an inhabited residential square, in the complete absence of ambulance service in the northern Gaza Strip.
Local media reported that a large number are still missing in the residential area that was housing a large number of displaced people due to the intensification of the aggression against the northern Gaza Strip.
The Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent said that 10 people were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house housing displaced people in the Beit Lahia project in the northern Gaza Strip. He pointed out that Israeli warplanes targeted, in a number of raids, an area adjacent to the Al-Shaima School, which shelters a large number of displaced people in the northern Beit Lahia area.
Tel Aviv Tribune obtained pictures showing the first moments after the Israeli bombing of homes in the town of Beit Lahia and the residents’ attempt to rescue the injured and extract the martyrs from under the rubble.
Residents launched appeals to retrieve the martyrs and injured in the town of Beit Lahia after the ambulance service in the northern Gaza Strip was disrupted.
Blowing up houses
In other developments, the Israeli occupation forces blew up homes in the western regions of the northern Gaza Strip.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent also reported that Israeli fighters launched a series of air strikes on various areas of northern Gaza.
The reporter confirmed that 4 Palestinians were killed, and others were injured, in an Israeli bombing of homes in Jabalia al-Nazla, north of the Gaza Strip, and a gathering of Palestinians in the area.
The Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Munir Al-Barsh, said that the occupation army raided Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, killing premature babies after cutting off the electrical power and destroying the only oxygen station in the northern Gaza Strip. Dr. Al-Barsh added to Tel Aviv Tribune that the occupation arrested all the Ministry’s cadres. Health in the hospital, and only some of them were later released.
Palestinian activists broadcast clips of plumes of smoke rising from the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital, in the northern Gaza Strip, following the escalation in the pace of Israeli bombing in the area.
In the center of the Gaza Strip, the reporter said that an Israeli artillery shelling targeted the north of the Bureij camp. He added that an Israeli helicopter bombed a target west of the Nuseirat camp.
Doctors at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, Deir Al-Balah, confirmed that a child died from wounds he sustained during a previous Israeli bombing on the Nuseirat camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip. The occupation forces also bombed with artillery houses and agricultural lands north and west of the Nuseirat camp, and the eastern areas of the Maghazi camp.
A Palestinian was also martyred, and a number of others were injured, in an Israeli raid on the town of Al-Zawaida, in the center of the Gaza Strip.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that a number of people were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a school in the vicinity of Palestine Stadium, west of Gaza City.
The correspondent also reported that 3 Palestinians were killed, and others were injured, in an Israeli air strike on a house in the vicinity of Sheikh Radwan Pool, west of Gaza City.
The reporter explained that rescue teams are continuing to search for missing people under the rubble, and he quoted medical sources as saying that most of the wounded were children and women, including some in critical condition.
In parallel, the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, was subjected to air and artillery bombardment by the Israeli occupation forces.
