Israeli airstrikes hit a densely populated area of northern Gaza without warning, killing at least 35 Palestinians.
Dozens of Palestinians have been killed after an Israeli strike destroyed several buildings in a residential area of Beit Lahiya in besieged northern Gaza, with the Health Ministry calling it a “horrific massacre”.

Rescue efforts are being hampered by a lack of ambulances and civil defense services, with Israeli forces blocking access to the area, the statement said.
The airstrike targeted at least five houses near the western Beit Lahiya roundabout, belonging to the Abu Shdaq, Al-Masri and Salman families, Wafa said.
Northern Gaza has been the subject of a ground attack for three weeks by Israeli forces who are forcibly displacing tens of thousands of residents from the area.
The Health Ministry reported that Israeli military strikes on Jabalia, Beit Hanoon and Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza killed around 800 people during a three-week offensive.
