With access to Gaza heavily restricted, researchers rely on open source intelligence to determine what is really happening on the ground.
Since October 7, Israel has prevented international investigators and journalists from entering the Gaza Strip to independently examine and verify allegations of war crimes and genocide. But because it is one of the most documented wars in history, the abundance of video and photos from Gaza is helping open source intelligence researchers piece together the truth about what is happening in the area war closed.
