Doctors and nurses in Gaza: We will work until the last needle and the last man unless the war stops News

Tel Aviv Tribune channel reported the testimonies of some medical personnel in the Gaza Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy, due to the bombing of its hospitals and the prevention of the entry of aid into them, as they confirmed that they will continue working until the war stops or death occurs.

One of the doctors in the Gaza Strip said that the medical teams are working to the best of their ability to compensate for the lack of capabilities, stressing that the work continues for 24 continuous hours without water or food.

One of the workers said that they “continue to carry out their duty towards their families, and they will not stop unless the war stops or they fall as martyrs.”

Another doctor also said that he sleeps in the operating room for two or three days and that he is no longer able to continue working under these conditions, adding, “Maybe you will not see us after this meeting.”

The doctor expressed his astonishment at the world’s position on what is happening in the Gaza Strip, saying, “I don’t know why they are watching us silently. It is the first time that humanity has remained silent regarding a situation like this,” stressing that it is something that “does not enter the mind.”

As for the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Dr. Muhammad Abu Salamiya, he said that the occupation “sentenced all those present in the complex, including the wounded, the sick, the displaced, and the medical teams, to premeditated murder.”

One of the nurses said that all the sick and wounded who were in the hospitals bombed by the occupation began heading towards the Shifa Complex, while a doctor said that the nature of their work makes them exposed to many difficult cases, but he also stressed that they cannot bear to see the children, women and elders of Gaza bombed in this way, And their passion often gets the better of them.

One of the doctors said that they are forced to deal non-stop, even with their relatives who are affected by the bombing, while a nurse confirmed that they will work until the last medical needle in the hospitals, until their last breath and their last soul.
