The eastern neighborhood of Jenin witnessed difficult days after an Israeli siege that lasted for five consecutive days. In the first press coverage from inside the neighborhood, Tel Aviv Tribune monitors horrific images of the extent of the destruction and human suffering.
According to a report prepared for Tel Aviv Tribune by correspondent Mohammed Khairi, initial observations showed widespread destruction of infrastructure and homes, with many buildings partially or completely demolished. Eyewitnesses told painful stories of hunger, thirst, and a severe shortage of baby milk, in addition to the deterioration of the health of patients.
