Demonstrations in Europe denouncing the continued Israeli aggression on Gaza News

Several marches took place in European cities and capitals to reject the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and to denounce the aggression on its 71st day, which has so far left 18,800 martyrs and 51,000 wounded, most of them women and children.

A number of activists supporting Palestine protested at the Saint-Lazare station in the French capital, Paris, demanding an end to the war on the Gaza Strip, and an end to what they called French-Israeli complicity towards “genocide” in Gaza.

Demonstrations took place in the Danish city of Aarhus and Zurich, Switzerland, in support of the Palestinian people and denouncing the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, during which participants called for a ceasefire and the introduction of aid into the besieged Strip.

Norwegian cities also witnessed several demonstrations by members of the Arab and Muslim communities and Norwegian solidarity activists to denounce the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, chanting in the demonstrations – called for by more than 100 Norwegian organizations and institutions – slogans denouncing what they described as Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip.

The protesters denounced the international silence and “American bias” regarding what is happening, and their protests were characterized by the broad participation of organizations concerned with children, to highlight the violations to which children in Gaza are exposed as a result of the Israeli aggression.

In Austria, the Palestinian European Media Center published a live broadcast – via Facebook – of a demonstration in the capital, Vienna, to demand an end to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

In London, a silent march took place at the call of the “Health Workers for Palestine” group in solidarity with their counterparts in Gaza, and doctors, nurses and paramedics gathered in their medical uniforms in front of St. Thomas Hospital, opposite the British Parliament.

The participants called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, as part of an event that comes within the framework of a popular movement that has been ongoing for more than two months, to call for a ceasefire, stop the export of British weapons to Israel, and end the occupation of the Palestinian territories.

German and Arab demonstrators also went out in the capital, Berlin, in a march demanding an end to the Israeli aggression against Gaza and an end to German government support for Tel Aviv, while German cities witnessed similar demonstrations, most notably Munich, to demand an end to Israeli crimes in Gaza and what they described as genocide against the Palestinians.

At the level of the Arab demonstrations, which took place in several cities over the past few days, activities were organized in Tunisia today in the city of Sfax, in the south of the country, in solidarity with the Palestinian people and to demand an end to the aggression against Gaza, during which the participants raised slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance and condemned the genocide to which the people of Gaza are subjected. Before the occupying army.

The participants also raised – according to scenes broadcast by activists – banners on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of the city’s son, “Muhammad Al-Zawari,” the march engineer in the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), after which the brigades named the drones they used during their war with the Israeli occupation.
