For the eighth week in a row, demonstrations in solidarity with the Gaza Strip continued in European cities and East Asia, amid demands for an immediate ceasefire.
The British capital, London, witnessed massive demonstrations demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the day after the British government refused to support a resolution in this regard in the UN Security Council.
Several human rights organizations participated in the demonstration, including the “Stop the War” coalition and the “Solidarity with Palestine” campaign.
The demonstrators hope that their protests for the eighth week in a row will push the government to change its position in support of Israel and reject an immediate halt to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

Indonesia
In East Asia, thousands of Indonesians in the city of Jok Jakarta in central Java today organized a solidarity march in support of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In a statement, the demonstrators expressed their denunciation of what they described as the weak position of the Arab world towards Palestine, and the double standards of Western countries towards human rights and freedoms.
They also denounced American support for Israel, which is committing massacres against the Palestinian people, stressing the need to prosecute the occupation and its leaders in international courts.
Demonstrators called for continuing to support the Palestinians and to boycott products and companies that support the occupation.
Since last October 7, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving 17,700 martyrs, while the number of wounded reached 48,780, most of them children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure, and an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.” According to official Palestinian and UN sources.
