Deadly car crashes in northern Italy


Three people died Monday after a series of collisions involving dozens of vehicles. Traffic was very disrupted.

Deadly pileups this Monday on motorways in northern Italy.

At least three motorists have died after a series of collisions involving around 150 vehicles.

Speed, fog and low visibility also left dozens of people injured who had to be hospitalized.

These pileups paralyzed traffic in the Emilia-Romagna region. Two of the three deaths were reported in Lombardy, east of Milan, near the town of Brescia.
