Former British footballer David Beckham has deposited his commercial mark in Russia, which will allow his company DB Ventures to sell products for babies and for the house in the country which waged a war of invasion against Ukraine.
The company of the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham has recorded the David Beckham brand with Rospatent, the Russian intellectual property service.
According to this body, the brand registration request was filed on June 21, 2024 and recorded on February 7, 2025.
The brand’s rights holder is the ex-footballer DB Ventures. Founded in 2014, she manages David Beckham’s advertising contracts.
Under the David Beckham brand, she has the right to sell sports items, babies and household items in Russia in Russia : furniture covers, table towels, handkerchiefs, mosquito nets, sleeping supports for newborns, kitchen tea towels, yoga carpets, curtains and bed linen.
In addition, David Beckham has at least another brand in Russia, David Beckham Bodywear, which concerns the production of clothing, shoes, hats and underwear.
After the start of the war in Ukraine, David Beckham and his wife Victoria actively supported the Ukrainians. Thus, in March 2022, he temporarily gave the codes of his Instagram account in Irina, a doctor from Kharkiv, who showed the realities of work in a hospital there during the war.
The couple also donated more than a million dollars to help Ukrainian children and initiated additional fundraising for UNICEF.
