The Syrian Ministry of Justice announced, yesterday, Thursday, the formation of an investigation committee in the recent endosperm (southern country) at a time when the salaries of workers in the public sector in the governorate were robbed.
As -Suwayda has been witnessing a ceasefire since the evening of July 19, after bloody clashes that lasted a week between Druze groups and Bedouin clans, which left dozens of deaths from both sides.
The Ministry of Justice said that the committee consists of 7 members, they are 4 judges, lawyers and a officer with the rank of dean, and added that the decision stipulated that the committee must submit its final report “within a period not exceeding 3 months.”
According to the decision, the committee’s tasks are determined by revealing the circumstances and circumstances that led to the events in As -Suwayda, the investigation of the attacks and violations against the citizens, and the referral of those who prove his participation in it to the judiciary.
Al -Adl indicated that this committee submits periodic reports of the results of its work, with the right to use what it deems appropriate from experts, specialists and the competent authorities.
Under the pretext of protecting the Druze, Israel took advantage of these situations and escalated its aggression against Syria, and on July 16, it launched extensive raids on 4 governorates, and bombed the headquarters of the Staff and the Ocean of the Presidential Palace in Damascus.
Storing employee salaries
In a related context, the Syrian Ministry of Finance announced yesterday that salaries were exposed to workers in the public sector in the Suwayda Governorate to rob the hands of groups that it described as “out of law” without indicating the size of the stolen amounts.
Al -Maliah said in a statement, “We started procedures for transferring salaries to our people and the brothers working in the public sector in As -Suwayda, but we were surprised that some of these funds were subjected to armed robbery by groups outside the law, including the robbery of the commercial bank branch in the city of Shahba.”
The Syrian government has been making extensive efforts to control security in the country, since the overthrow of December 8, 2024, in the regime of President Bashar al -Assad after 24 years of power.
