Crocodile alert near Bankok after escape of around twenty specimens

Panic in Samut Sakhon province, near Bangkok. A massive search operation has been launched to find and capture crocodiles which escaped from a local farm. The owner immediately warned the authorities and local residents of the danger. Stray beasts are quite large, reaching 100 kg and 4 meters in length. The search operation was to cover an area of ​​5 to 6 hectares.

The owner explained that a cement pond wall had collapsed and the water literally swept the crocodiles into the surrounding fish ponds. A total of 14 specimens have already been captured and returned to their enclosure while several others are still at large.
