Regional tensions are growing due to the US-backed war.

More than 20,000 Palestinians killed in Gaza by Israel, armed and supported by the United States and its European allies.

Other fighting nearby as well: Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthis in Yemen among the groups involved.
