The Israeli occupation army continues its escalation in the West Bank, as it stormed several cities and towns and arrested a child from the city of Al-Bireh, while settlers closed the entrance to a Palestinian village.
Sources reported to Tel Aviv Tribune at dawn on Sunday that the occupation forces, reinforced with military vehicles, stormed the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank.
The occupation forces also stormed the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, amid confrontations and the firing of stun grenades.
Late on Saturday evening, the official Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) said that the Israeli occupation army stormed the city of Al-Bireh (central), and towns in the governorates of Jenin and Nablus (north) and Hebron (south).
In the city of Al-Bireh, Wafa said, “The occupation forces stormed the outskirts of the city, near the Jabal Al-Tawil area, and arrested the child, Qais Abu Qubaita, while he was in the area.”

In the southern West Bank, “Wafa” said, “Several citizens suffered from suffocation during an Israeli force storming the town of Sa’ir, north of the city of Hebron, where stun grenades and toxic tear gas were fired at the citizens, leading to a number of them suffocating, while confrontations broke out with the occupation forces before its withdrawal from the region.”
On the other hand, settlers from the Beitar Illit settlement closed the entrance to the village of Wadi Fukin, west of the city of Bethlehem, with stones and prevented the passage of vehicles and citizens, before it was opened again, according to the Palestinian Agency.
In Jenin, the Israeli army stormed the villages of Rummana and Al-Taybeh, west of the city, and fired bullets at Palestinians, leading to the outbreak of confrontations without any casualties among citizens being reported.
South of the city of Nablus, an Israeli force stormed the town of Beita, detained a young man, and severely beat him, before releasing him later.

During the past two days, Israeli occupation forces arrested 25 Palestinians from the West Bank, including at least two children.
In conjunction with the war of extermination in Gaza, the Israeli army expanded its operations and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in 824 martyrs, about 6,500 wounded, and about 12,000 detainees, according to data from Palestinian bodies.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving nearly 153,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.
Tel Aviv continues its massacres, ignoring two arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court on November 21, against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, on charges of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians in Gaza.
