Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) – showed scenes of its fighters targeting Israeli special forces as they entered a house east of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, in addition to dropping a missile from its drone.
The Al-Qassam video dates back to May 14, when Israeli special forces were targeted by a “thunder” personnel bomb as part of a complex ambush.
After the bombing, chants of “Allahu Akbar” rose, while one of the Qassam fighters said, “We swear we will bring you terrible death,” and added, “Come forward and collect your pieces, you cowards.”
Yesterday, Tuesday, Al-Qassam announced the implementation of a complex operation at the end of the Jabalia Camp School Street, targeting an Israeli special force holed up inside a house with an anti-personnel missile. The soldiers were also targeted immediately after they evacuated to the bottom of the house with an anti-personnel device, and they were killed and wounded.
Al-Qassam added, in a statement on its Telegram channel, that “a short time later, a number of its members advanced towards the same house and detonated an anti-personnel device at the entrance to the house, leaving the soldiers dead and wounded.”
She pointed out, “As soon as an armored force advanced to rescue the injured and recover the dead, its members targeted a Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell, and we blew up a second Merkava tank with a strobe device.”
Dropping a missile
In a related context, Al-Qassam broadcasted scenes – dating back to yesterday, Tuesday – showing a shell being dropped from a drone on Israeli soldiers east of Jabalia, and said that fragments of the shell wounded a number of soldiers.
This is the second time that Al-Qassam has used a drone to target the occupation and its vehicles in Jabalia, two days after a shell was dropped on an Israeli Merkava tank and the moment it was hit was documented.
The Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza have been documenting their operations against the occupation army forces and vehicles on various fronts of combat since the start of the Israeli ground operation on October 27.
Many details appeared during the video clips about the operations carried out against the occupation forces.
