The military and strategic expert, Colonel Hatem Karim Al-Falahi, confirmed that the Israeli occupation aims to achieve several goals by cutting off the communications network and the Internet from the northern Gaza Strip. He explained in the context of his analysis of developments in the scene in southern Lebanon that Hezbollah may use new weapons and methods in its battle with the occupation.

Colonel Al-Falahi said that the Israeli occupation cutting off the communications network and the Internet from the northern Gaza Strip aims to prevent communication between Palestinians at home and abroad.

The Israeli occupation also aims to prevent images of the crimes it commits from reaching outside the Gaza Strip, and Colonel Al-Falahi also suggested that cutting off communications and the Internet would signal a military operation in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, Colonel Al-Falahi pointed out – in an analysis of the military scene in Gaza – that adding the Givati Brigade to the Israeli military operation in Jabalia aims to give new momentum to the forces fighting in the region.

He explained that the advance of the Givati Brigade is linked to the incursion operations, given that armored vehicles and vehicles are unable to penetrate into civilian areas.

Sources had revealed to Tel Aviv Tribune that a violent Israeli bombardment targeted the Jabalia camp and areas of northern Gaza, coinciding with the cutting off of the communications network and the Internet, amid large reinforcements and the advance of occupation army vehicles on more than one axis in the camp, as its operations continued for the 14th day in a row.

New stage

In his reading of the military and field developments in southern Lebanon, Colonel Al-Falahi said that Hezbollah’s talk about entering a new phase in fighting the Israeli occupation means that the party will either use new weapons in the battle, which may have different and very precise ranges.

Or Hezbollah – adds the military and strategic expert – will resort to new methods of using weapons, such as naval force intervention and the use of air defense weapons.

Hezbollah may target new strategic goals in the process of escalation and confrontation.

According to the military and strategic expert, the coming period may answer questions about Hezbollah’s new vision in its battle with the occupation, and will it move from defense to attack?

Hezbollah had announced that the resistance had moved to a new and progressive stage against the enemy, which would be discussed by the events and developments of the coming days.

On the other hand, Colonel Al-Falahi said that the occupation army’s deployment of a new reserve brigade in the northern region aims to increase combat momentum in the combat areas.

It is noteworthy that the border areas in southern Lebanon have witnessed an exchange of fire between the Israeli army and Hezbollah since October 8, after Israel declared war on Gaza.

On October 1, the Israeli army launched a ground operation in southern Lebanon to attack Hezbollah positions.
