Collapsed ceiling: a marriage turns into a disaster near Florence


Thirty-five wedding guests were hospitalized this weekend after a vault collapsed at an old monastery. The bride and groom are among the injured.

Wedding disaster in Italy this weekend. Emergency services were called to an emergency after a dance floor collapsed at an old 15th century monastery in Pistoia, north of Florence.

Some 35 people were injured, six of whom were hospitalized with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The bride and groom, for their part, are among the injured, they were hospitalized side by side.

An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of this accident.
