Palestinian resistance fighters clashed with the occupation army in several areas in the West Bank on Thursday, while the army completely withdrew its forces from the Nour Shams camp in the city of Tulkarm after a military operation that lasted about 40 hours.
Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent Laith Jaar monitored the storming of Nour Shams camp, which was described as the largest since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza, and witnessed several clashes and explosions, and arrests that included dozens of camp residents.
The occupation army said today – in a statement – that it carried out a large operation in the Nour Shams camp, noting a campaign of arrests and field interrogations, the destruction of the capabilities of Palestinian militants, and the discovery of weapons.
Reuters quoted residents in the camp as saying that the occupation forces arrested at least 120 people and demolished 3 homes, including the home of a member of the Tulkarm Brigades.
At the same time, Anadolu Agency quoted witnesses as saying that the army had completely withdrawn from the city of Tulkarm and the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps after an operation that resulted in at least 17 Palestinians being injured.
The witnesses added that Palestinian resistance fighters detonated explosive devices in military vehicles, and the forces were seen pulling one of these vehicles.
Earlier today, an Tel Aviv Tribune correspondent reported that a young Palestinian man was killed by occupation bullets in the town of Tammoun in Tubas, northeast of the West Bank.
The occupation vehicles stormed the town, leading to the outbreak of violent clashes between resistance fighters and Israeli soldiers, including throwing explosive devices at the invading patrols.

Clashes south of Jenin
On the other hand, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that clashes took place between Palestinian resistance fighters and occupation soldiers, who opened fire on press crews and Palestinian homes in the village of Sir, south of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
She added that resistance fighters detonated a homemade explosive device near military vehicles in the village.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said earlier that the occupation forces surrounded a number of homes in the village, and indicated that a number of young men were injured as a result of the occupation soldiers severely beating them while they were handcuffed, and the soldiers also opened fire randomly inside the homes they besieged.
The occupation forces stormed the village for several hours to find a young Palestinian man, claiming that he was wanted by the Israeli security services, but he disappeared and the occupation soldiers were unable to reach him.
The raids and arrests in cities and camps come within the framework of a widespread Israeli escalation in the West Bank since the resistance launched the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle on October 7th of last year.
The total number of arrests since that date reached about 5,630 detainees, according to the latest data published by the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club on Thursday.
