Clashes in Jenin and arrest of released prisoners in Qalqilya | News


Armed clashes broke out at dawn on Thursday in Jenin during the Israeli army’s incursion into the city, and other areas in the West Bank witnessed raids and arrests.

Palestinian sources said that clashes broke out between resistance fighters and occupation forces during their incursion into the housing area in Jenin, north of the West Bank.

Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that Israeli forces stormed the Harsh al-Saada neighborhood in Jenin before dawn, and the town of Yamoun, west of the city, was also subjected to a similar storming.

Palestinian sources reported that the forces that penetrated the Harsh al-Saada area in Jenin were exposed to gunfire.

Also in the northern West Bank, local sources said that the Israeli occupation army stormed Nablus.

The occupation forces also stormed Al-Ain camp in Nablus. And the town of Kafr Qallil, east of the city.

Arrest of released prisoners

Also in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed the city of Qalqilya before dawn today before withdrawing later.

Al-Aqsa TV said that the invading forces withdrew from the city after arresting 3 freed prisoners.

She pointed out that among the detainees was Jamal Hindi, who was released by the occupation authorities two weeks ago after spending 20 years in its prisons.

In the southern West Bank, the Israeli army stormed the city of Hebron last night, and Palestinian sources said that a Palestinian youth was arrested during the incursion.

An Israeli force also stormed the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, during the night.

In this context, Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Karkafa Street in the center of Bethlehem before dawn today.

In Shuafat camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, residents bid farewell to the child Hani Taha, who was martyred yesterday by the bullets of the occupation soldiers.

The martyr was buried amid chants denouncing the crimes of the occupation. The invading forces arrested 5 Palestinian youths in the Shuafat camp.

Since Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa, the Israeli army has launched extensive attacks that have resulted in the martyrdom of 706 Palestinians, the injury of about 6,000 others, and the arrest of nearly 11,000, according to official Palestinian institutions.
