Violent clashes continue between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in the neighborhoods of Jenin camp in the northern West Bank, while Wissam Khazem, a leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Jenin, was martyred along with two others who were with him, via a drone missile.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces sent military reinforcements and bulldozers to the camp, amid intense drone flights in the sky of the city and its camp.
The Israeli Army Radio quoted the Central Command as saying that the military operation in Jenin is not time-bound and will end after achieving its goals.
Tel Aviv Tribune’s correspondent said that the occupation forces opened fire on citizens’ homes in the Al-Damj neighborhood, amid the outbreak of armed clashes, while resistance fighters detonated locally-made explosive devices in military vehicles.
The occupation bulldozers continue to destroy streets and infrastructure in the city of Jenin and its camp, which has led to water cuts in large areas of the city and power outages in neighborhoods of the city.
In this context, the Israeli army said that it had liquidated Wissam Khazem, a Hamas commander in the Jenin area, in an exchange of fire.
The occupation army added that the air force, after targeting Khazem, raided a car carrying two people, Maysara Masharqa and Arafat Amer, who were with Khazem before he was targeted.
The occupation army revealed that after the surveillance, the Border Guard undercover agents, under the direction of the Shin Bet, eliminated Wissam Hazem, the leader of the Hamas network in Jenin.
The Israeli military claimed that Hazem was involved in carrying out and directing shootings, detonating explosive devices, and other attacks in the West Bank.

The resistance mourns the martyrs
For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of 3 young men in a bombing of the town of Zababdeh in Jenin, and confirmed that the occupation forces are holding their bodies. It also said that the number of victims of the Israeli operation in the West Bank has risen to 19 martyrs.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that it detonated explosive devices in the occupation’s vehicles and forces in the city. It also said that it detonated an explosive device in an Israeli military bulldozer, and achieved confirmed injuries.
For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades – the military wing of Hamas – mourned its three martyred leaders, and said that the leader Wissam Ayman Khazem was martyred along with two of his comrades as a result of an air strike in the village of Al-Zababdeh, east of Jenin.
The Brigades also mourned the martyr Muhammad Tawfiq Awfi, who was martyred after the airstrike on Tulkarm, in which the commander Muhammad Jaber Abu Shuja was martyred.
The Brigades confirmed that its fighters had set up well-planned ambushes for the occupation forces in the governorates of Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas, and inflicted heavy and certain losses on them. It said that it would reveal the details of these losses in the coming days.
In turn, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – the military wing of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) – mourned the martyr Maysara Masharqa, one of its most prominent field leaders in Jenin.
The Islamic Jihad Movement also mourned the martyrs of the Zababdeh massacre and the martyrs of the West Bank, and stressed that the widespread aggression launched by the occupation forces on the cities and camps of the northern West Bank will not achieve its goals, but will increase the determination and resolve to resist.
