Today, Friday, sources confirmed to Tel Aviv Tribune that a young man was injured in clashes between resistance fighters and Palestinian security services in the city of Tubas in the northern West Bank, while the Al-Quds Brigades called for the lifting of the siege on Tubas Brigade fighters who are besieged by Palestinian security.

Palestinian news websites reported that violent clashes took place between the resistance and the Palestinian Authority security in Tubas, following the arrest of the commander of the Tubas Battalion of the Jerusalem Brigades, Ahmed Abu Al-Aida, who is being pursued by the Israeli authorities, and the Authority security carried out a daily arrest campaign.

Palestinian websites said that the Palestinian security services arrested a number of young men in the Old Market area in Tubas, coinciding with the continuation of armed clashes.

A call to public outcry

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades called – in a statement – for a general mobilization in the city and the lifting of the siege on the fighters who are besieged by the Palestinian security services.

She said, “We call on all the revolutionary and resistant youth and the popular incubator to mobilize in general and support the battalion’s mujahideen, in light of the fierce attack carried out by the occupation and the authorities’ apparatuses of arresting, kidnapping, and assassinating the battalion’s mujahideen and violating the sanctity of the homes of those persecuted by the occupation forces.”

She added, “We call on every honorable free person to mobilize and lift the siege on the fighters of the Tubas Brigade who are besieged by the security services, which are trying to eliminate the state of resistance in order to fulfill the dream of the enemy leaders and the settlers,” she said.

The Tubas Brigade also called, in a statement, on the people of the West Bank for public mobilization and support of the fighters, who it said were being subjected to a fierce attack by the occupation and the Palestinian Authority security services.

Yesterday, Thursday, the Authority’s security services surrounded the house of Ahmed Abu Al-Ayda, wanted by the occupation, in Tubas, and arrested 5 young men in the area.

Tubas is still witnessing tension after the Authority Security arrested those persecuted by the occupation, followed by clashes with the people of the city.
